We Are Museums gathers culture and innovation makers to shape the museums of tomorrow.
For 3 days, we create a pop-up ecosystem where we facilitate connections between practitioners, entrepreneurs, artists and game-changers to help museums become vital places for human dialogue, intersections for new encounters and agents of transformation.

We will talk about
For this year's edition, major conversations will revolve around the "MuseumHood": how museums create a neighbourhood and impact social change and a brotherhood always ready to support and take action. Local Love, Museum For Good and Museum Entrepreneurship will be our main point of focus.
We will also continue our mission to inspire culture lovers to make the future of arts, culture and science institutions happen, help propel sustainable communities as well as individual well-being and entrepreneurship but also strengthen professional skills and have a closer look at the workplace, and on how to work out generational gaps.
Muzeum Śląskie w Katowicach
The Muzeum Śląskie in Katowice is an exceptional project at the heart of Europe which encompasses a whole Polish region, Silesia (in Polish – Śląsk), from its industry to its culture, creating an unique conversation that We Are Museums 2019 will draw inspiration from.
