Anna Posłuszna

Chief Education Officer, Emigration Museum in Gdynia (Poland)

Anna Posłuszna – Chief Education Officer in the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. Besides creating permanent program for schools, I’m coordinating activities such as detective games for adults “Criminal Fridays” or a program for youth, “MEGaphone of Culture”. Since the beginning I have been trying to make the museum available to everyone. I am the co-originator and coordinator of the project “Museum Without Exception”, dedicated to people with disabilities.

``The Unreachables`` and how to get them.

Every museum has their “Unreachables” and every case is so much different. Diagnosing your “Unreachables” and constantly trying to reach them is nowadays often a priority task for the museum workers. By dealing with it, Emigration Museum in Gdynia developed a couple of programs designed for the audiences that are hardest for us to reach. Sometimes, in quite tricky and not straightforward way, but always – by getting them involved.

Benefits for the participants

You want to think out-of-the box while searching for the best way to reach yours “The Unreachables”? Define the box first and start to work right on its walls, to get out of it. Get inspired by the best cases of Emigration Museum in defining these boxes and crashing its walls.

Format of the workshop

Emigration Museum in Gdynia will share its best practices in diagnosis and answering the specific needs of so called “non-audience” in an active and involving way.
